It’s been a deep couple of days for many of the mountains in Colorado. The snow is still coming down for several resorts, though it does seem to be slowing down just a bit and the snow is supposed to stop by the end of the day. But it should be noted just how deep this storm managed to get.

Unsurprisingly, I-70 and the surrounding roads have been in a pretty rough condition since the storm began. Parts of the highway have seen closures going into today, November 27, which is typically the busiest travel day of the year. Mountain Recovery, who work to keep the highway safe and help those who become stuck along I-70, has been quite busy through the storm (follow them on Instagram if you don’t already, they provide some killer updates on highway conditions).

Many resorts won big time from this storm. Copper Mountain, as an example, became one of the first ski resorts in the United States to see 100″ of snowfall throughout the past few days, seeing 20 inches in the past 24 hours alone. Their November total is now up to 81 inches, and their base depth is at 45 inches.

Aspen Mountain, meanwhile, has seen just a tad bit more than copper over the past 24 hours, reaching 21 inches, and has seen 34″ in the past 72 hours. Their base depth now reaches to 37 inches. Snowmass has seen around the same from this storm, with a base depth now at around 47 inches.

Crested Butte‘s impressive totals from the past few days can’t be ignored either. They’ve seen 25 inches of snowfall in the past 24 hours alone, bringing their total for the season up to 67 inches. This storm has brought a total of 31 inches to the resort and has brought the mountain’s base depth up to 50 inches.

Back along I-70, Breckenridge has seen a little bit less snowfall than many other mountains in the state, recording 18 inches in the past 24 hours and 19″ in the past 48 hours. Meanwhile, Arapahoe Basin has seen closer to 15 inches in the past 24 hours and 18″ in the past 48.

Further east at Winter Park, a base depth of 36 inches has been built up with a season total of 72 inches. The past 24 hours have brought 19 inches to the mountain, while the past three days have brought a total of 27″. Even closer to the plains of Colorado, Eldora has still gotten a fair amount of snowfall through the storm, with 9 inches falling in the past 24 hours and 11″ in the past 48.

If there’s one thing certain, it’s that today and tomorrow are going to be some pretty epic days on the slopes. Just make sure to drive safely and plan ahead for poor road conditions!
