Sadly, most of the lower 48 are in for a fairly snow-less week next week. Even Canada’s snowfall appears like it may be less than what we’ve been seeing over the past several weeks. But there are a few spots that are likely to be happy with Chris Tomer’s newest forecast, namely in parts of the Southwest.
Chris Tomer’s mountain weather updates provide detailed snow forecasts for North America, helping winter recreators plan ahead for incoming weather. He’s been weather consulting for around 20 years, helping expeditions to the top of all 14 8,000 meter peaks and much more. His love for skiing and general outdoor recreation is clear through his detailed forecasts.
Today and tomorrow (November 14 & 15) look to be very dry across much of the west, with just a few inches of snow expected here and there. Between November 16 and November 23, the snow totals don’t appear much more agressive. The continental divide could see some snow, and Mount Baker might see over two feet, but the rest of the west doesn’t seem so lucky. However New Mexico, specifically Ski Santa Fe and Angel Fire, could see a healthy foot touching down.
