Trevor Kennison sends Corbet's Couloir.

Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole is a place of legends. In 1960, mountaineer Barry Corbet looked down the narrow chute and stated “someday someone will ski that.” Today many people launch themselves into the run’s powdery (and sometimes not-so-powdery) abyss, but the highlights and lowlights of the run still make their way into legend. And so it seems a fitting place for sit-skiing boss Trevor Kennison.

Jackson Hole is yet to open for the 2024/25 ski season, but should get things going on November 29. This year the resort is opening two new restaurants, Tram Dock and a newly designed Trapper’s, to skiers and snowboarders. As of November, their season is set to run until April 13.
