Ski boot left in pieces after rough switch landing.

Swiss freestyle skier Andri Ragettli experienced a bit of an equipment failure upon impact after sending a jump at the Stomping Grounds Project session at Saas-Fee Ski Resort.

Andri’s Italian made Diablo Ski Boots he affectionately refers to as his “Ferrari Boots” were literally split into pieces but he somehow skied away uninjured.

Over 200 freestyle ski and snowboard participated in the Stomping Grounds Project’s 10-day freestyle training session including 29 Olympic medallists. Hats off to park builders Charles Beckinsale, Jeremy Carpenter and Brandon Dodds who crafted the features. These world-class parkitects laid down an incredible jump line and halfpipe on the Feegletscher that had the athletes going huge as we head into the competition season. Cheers!
