Winter Park Resort in Colorado has announced their opening day as this Friday, November 8, joining a growing list of open resorts across the country. The resort will open with 30 acres of skiable terrain through 4 trails.
The Gemini Express, Arrow, Endeavour, Meteor, and Spirit, three ski lifts and two surface lifts, will be spinning on opening day, providing access to Parkway, Porcupine, Village Way, and Sorenson Park. The resort will open to the public at 9am local time on Friday.
Open food options on the mountain include Derailer, Doc’s, Moffat Market, Sundog, Waffle Cabin, Pizza Pedal’r, Trail’s End, Coffee & Tea, and Starbucks, while rentals will be available out of West Portal Rentals. Meanwhile both Balcony House and West Portal Rentals will be open for those needing to pick up lift tickets, and Zero Creek, Outfitters, Burton, James & Parry’s, and The North Face will all be open retailers.
Updates on the early season Winter Park terrain park have not yet been made available. The WP Rail Yard Instagram will provide future updates in that realm.
