Bishop Telemark and TELE COLO, two Colorado based companies focused on telemark gear & media, have teamed up on a pair of extremely limited edition skis, bringing the graphics of TELE COLO to the top sheet of Bishop Telemark’s PowderHound.
The PowderHound is designed specifically for shredding powder stashed with a free heel, featuring Bishop’s Telem-Arc Technology. The tech shines through a blend of geometry, flex, and construction created to harness the forces created in a telemark turn. Reinforcement is placed exactly where it’s needed for a telemark binding, rather than through the entire underfoot section for alpine bindings, allowing for a more natural flex. The smooth, continuous arc created is what they call the “Telem-Arc.”
“The PowderHound is everything you want to sniff out those pow stashes. This ski bounds through soft pow, slashes through trees, and charges the crud with power and confidence. With versatility at the core of its design, this ski is the go-to for days where you have beautiful powder mornings, and stick to groomers in the afternoons.” – Bishop Telemark
The TELE COLO collaboration features a pink/purple top sheet, a series of graphics designed by TELE COLO founder CJ Coccia, and an iconic “Alpine Is Dead” graphic found on much of TELE COLO’s merchandise. Available in a 176cm and a 186cm option, only 20 pairs of these skis exist in the world, so if you want one, you’d better act very fast. The 2025 PowderHound Tele Colo Limited Edition is available on both the TELE COLO and the Bishop Telemark websites for $949.
