Details on The World Wingsuit League Championship held in Zhangjiajie, China are rather sparse but this video speaks volumes. Participants launched from a platform perched high above the Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park in the Hunan Province and aimed for small target suspended between scaffolding just 50 feet above spectators. The target is pierced at high velocity with the wingsuiter’s head and points are awarded for accuracy.
This year’s winner was France’s Ambroise Serrano who scored 70 points on his first pass and 90 on his second for total of 160 points. Congratulations to Ambroise!
