Skiing at Brian Head Resort

The resort is celebrating its 60th ski and snowboard season, bringing nearly $1.4 million in capital improvements into the new season. Three new trails, two beginner and one intermediate, will bring the resort’s trail count up to 74, and a new gladed adventure trail between Navajo and Maryland Parkway trails on Navajo Mountain will provide a great tree run to families.

Plus, coming into the new ski season, 2,400 feet of snowmaking line has been replaced, and new new energy-efficient LED lighting and poles will improve visibility during night skiing. New ramps at the top and bottom of multiple lifts, in addition to a newly refurbished ski patrol building at the top of the Giant Steps Express lift, will make the resort safer for everyone.

Brian Head Resort will celebrate their 60th anniversary during the week of January 7, 2025, the exact date the resort opened in 1965. On-mountain activities and events will fill the week.

We are thrilled to celebrate our 60-year milestone. This achievement is a testament to the support of our community, the dedication of our amazing team, and the loyal guests who have made Brian Head Resort a part of their winter traditions.” – general manager at Brian Head Resort Tom Pettigrew

Tickets for Brian Head Resort are available now, costing as low as $19 a day. Additionally, Brian Head is featured on the Power Pass and the Power Kids pass (free to all kids 12 and younger).
