Ask anyone what the most famous ski resort in the United States is, and there’s likely two answers you’ll hear. Vail, of course, is known across the world both for the mountain itself and the ever expanding Vail Resorts company. But Aspen Snowmass is known for its flare, its personality, and its epic terrain. According to Marius Quast, it’s the most famous ski resort in the United States.
“For me, this trip is my absolute childhood dream anyway: skiing in the USA and Canada. And to have big names like Aspen, Vail, Whistler and Jackson Hole on the list is just amazing. So today Basti and I can take you to Aspen in Colorado, where the mansions of the rich and famous are and you have access to 4 ski areas: Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Aspen Snowmass and the Highbowls.“
Quast’s trip to North America was a blast to watch in general. You can tell he really enjoyed the places he visited, despite the very high costs. This extends to Aspen, too, and the people he ran into. Of course, Aspen has earned its reputation for a reason.
