Skier air walks through fail on Whistler's "Air Jordan"
Skier air walks through fail on Whistler's "Air Jordan"

WHISTLER, Canada – Whistler‘s Air Jordan is a beast of a line. It’s a double cliff drop, accessible from the Peak Chair, and fully in view of the Peak Chair lift line. So either you send it, and the crowd below you roars, or you fail, and the crowd below you sees the whole thing. Anyone who rides it is likely to have a camera pointed their way, so success, or an epic fail, is highly valued.

Tom Conway managed to capture this skier attempting Air Jordan after a 51 cm (20 inch) storm had fallen the day before. It goes pretty poorly for the skier, but they fortunately seem to be totally okay after the fall. And it’s pretty epic, so hopefully they’re able to look back with joy.
