Mammoth Lakes, California —  The end is nigh for Mammoth Mountain’s 2024-25 ski season.

Yesterday, Mammoth announced its closing date for the 2024-25 season. Mammoth will remain open daily until June 15th, with the lifts operating hours being 7:30 am-1 pm.

The following lifts remain open: Broadway Express (1), Stump Alley Express (2), Face Lift Express (3), and Chair 23. The Panorama Gondola is likely closed for the season due to annual maintenance, with it being scheduled to remain closed until mid-June. As of May 29th, 48 trails remain open, with 21 trails being groomed. No beginner terrain is available due to the closure of the Discovery Express (11).

Mammoth’s season began on November 15th. It wasn’t the snowiest season, with only 286 inches falling at the Main Lodge. However, the snow has stuck around, with the summit having an impressive snow depth of 98 inches. In addition, they opened their second new chairlift in two seasons, with the Broadway Express (1) making its debut.
