ARAPAHOE BASIN, Colorado – Getting in shape for ski season can be a challenge. Do you continue to do the summer sports you enjoy and hope that they keep you strong enough, or do you do a workout specifically designed for skiing? If you’re going to do a specific workout, which one do you use? Arapahoe Basin‘s free Ski-Boot Camps could help you get that all figured out.

Men’s U.S, Alpine Team Summer Workout

A-Basin’s Ski-Boot Camps are designed to get you in shape for the upcoming season. Starting September 14 at Arapahoe Basin, all you need to bring is your yoga mat, sneakers, and some workout clothing. Boot camps will also be hosted on September 28 at Commons Park in Denver, October 5 at the Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, and October 12 at Clear Creek Valley Park in Arvada.

The Ski-Boot Camps are free, but those hoping to attend are asked to RSVP here. After the workout on September 14, Dave Watts and Friends will entertain with some free music all afternoon. Plus, if you bring your ski and snowboard gear to the September 14 event, they’ll give it a free tune up.

Arapahoe Basin is hosting plenty other events throughout the rest of what they call “Not Winter”. On September 7, the mountain hosts their Cirque Series race, and on September 21 and 22, beer lovers can partake in the mountain’s legendary Oktoberfest celebration. Following the festivities on the 22nd, a showing of TGR’s new Beyond the Fantasy will take place at the Dillon Amphitheater in partnership with Arapahoe Basin.
