Jonny Moseley on Saturday Night Live.

NEW YORK CITY, New York – Back in 2002, professional freestyle skier Jonny Moseley made a hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live after the Olympics. He hosted the March 2 episode, with Outkast as the musical guest. Boston Teens, a skit from that episode, puts him between Jimmy Fallon and Rachel Dratch on a ski lift, with the two cast members playing a bickering couple from Boston. The best part is probably when Jimmy Fallon tells Moseley that he needs to get his life together, and when Dratch tells him he can’t make money doing extreme sports (he’s definitely made money doing extreme sports).

According to IMDB, the 2001-2002 cast included Rachel Dratch, Jimmy Fallon, Will Farrell, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Darrell Hammond, Chris Kattan, Tracy Morgan, Chris Parnell, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Horatio Sanz, Dean Edwards, Seth Meyers, and Jeff Richards.

Jonny Moseley is obviously not an actor, so we wouldn’t have super high expectations from him going into something like this. But he’s really not bad! We need more professional skiers and snowboarders hosting Saturday Night Live, if you ask me.
