Beavers Mountain Clean Up @ Arapahoe Basin
Beavers Mountain Clean Up @ Arapahoe Basin

Cheers to all the volunteers to showed up for Arapahoe Basin’s first ever Beavers Mountain Clean Up on Saturday the 17th. Looks like they had great weather as participants hiked down trash bags in hand collecting refuse and then enjoyed a chairlift ride to the summit to eat free lunch at Steilhang:

“Being stewards to the White River National Forest is a job we simply can’t do alone. Our community has gone above and beyond to help us reach our goal of carbon neutral this year and continue to take steps to minimize our footprint. We are always grateful.”A-Basin

Arapahoe Basin CEO Alan Henceroth:

Almost 50 people came to The Basin yesterday for our annual “Mountain Cleanup Day.” The group wandered down through The Beavers picking up a few seasons worth of trash and other goodies. They even found the skull of one of our native ungulates. Thanks to everyone that chose to spend a day taking care of A-Basin.
