If you’d like to participate in A-Basin’s first-ever mountain clean up in The Beavers on Saturday, August, 17th, register now because they are capping the crew at 50 at they will surely fill up fast.
Participants will hike down The Beavers together, collecting some “treasures and a lot of trash” then ride the chairlift to the summit and enjoy a free lunch at Steilhang. We are committed to being thoughtful stewards of our mountain and the White River National Forest and encourage all our guests to join us in this endeavor.Â
Mountain Clean Ups are capped at 50 people. While these events are free, all participants must register and sign a waiver before the event (REGISTRATION COMING SOON).
Prep for all kinds of weather! Bring layers, a rain jacket, sunscreen, water, and good hiking shoes. The Beavers can get steep in areas so prep for a good hike down the mountain!
Schedule –Â Subject to change:
9:00 a.m. – Check-in and safety talk
9:30 a.m. – Ride Black Mountain Express to Lenawee to reach the summit
9:45 a.m. – Hike down Beaver Bowl in small guided groups & pick up any trash you find!
12:30 p.m. – Meet and ride up Beavers Chair
12:45 p.m. – Complementary lunch at Steilhang
