VERBIER, Switzerland – We saw some epic sends and gnarly wipeouts throughout the 2024 Freeride World Tour season, but few really compare to New Zealander Blake Marshall‘s missile of a run at the 2024 Verbier Pro. Just when you think he’s going to eat it, he manages to stay on his feet, sending off a lower feature and eating it in that landing.

Sadly the wipeout left him without much of a score, but he did return for stop four and five of the tour (stop one and three were cancelled), taking a fifth place at stop five (Georgia Pro). He did not qualify for the finals.

The stops and schedule for this upcoming season’s Freeride World Tour are yet to be announced, but, assuming plenty of snow hits the northern hemisphere, it should be an epic season.
