Dramatic footage from a remote mountain road in Valle Nevado, Chile near the Chilean as emergency responders raced to save a driver buried under an avalanche on June 21st. The vehicle was overturned in the avalanche and responders had to dig to get the man out. Not sure if the driver knew the man he saw when he first made it to safety or that hug was just unbridled gratitude for a stranger. Nice save.
Valle Nevado has already gotten 17+ feet of snow this season, making it snowiest start of a winter since the 1990s.
