The folks at the Wyoming Department of Transportation sent up a drone to survey the damage caused by a landslide on a section of highway between Jackson and the Idaho border and it doesn’t look good.

The Teton Pass is a called a “lifeline” in the area and a massive chunk of it is now gone. Thankfully no crews were hurt in the process and no equipment was damaged. WYDOT is currently reviewing a long term solution and repairs. Long term closure is expected.
