COLORADO – It is still ski season at five of Colorado’s Front Range resorts. Arapahoe Basin, Winter Park and Breckenridge will continue to stay open as late as possible and as long as snow lasats, with Winter Park limited to just the Mary Jane side of the mountain and no closing date set for any of these three.

Sadly Copper Mountain and Loveland are headed towards their final weekend of operation this week, with both resorts capping off their season on Sunday, May 12. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t more snow headed towards these five resorts! This week alone, things could be looking quite white on the resorts.

All five of these resorts could be looking at ten or more inches of snow throughout the week. Monday (today) and Tuesday seem to be the heaviest, with Loveland forecasted to receive around 8″ of snow and Copper to receive around 11″, all before Wednesday morning.

One of the big benefits of living in Colorado is the quality and length of the spring skiing season. With such high altitude, we can almost always keep skiing lift access terrain into late May, if not June. So get out there and have some fun on that spring snow!
