The Red Bull Alpine Park reinvented slalom skiing with a hybridization of parallel slalom and slopestyle. Love to see the melding of different disciplines to create an entirely new format. A SLALOM RACE LIKE NO OTHER, THOUGHT UP BY CLÉMENT NOËL
Red Bull Alpine Park is a unique mix of traditional slalom and freestyle skiing, on an innovative slope created for the occasion to put competitors to the test, pushing their boundaries and offering spectators a fascinating show. Behind this event lies Clément Noël’s determined desire to share his passion for slalom skiing with a wide audience here in Val d’Isère, his home. Red Bull Alpine Park reflects his vision of slalom skiing, in a futuristic mix of competition and entertainment resulting in a breathtaking show.
The races will take place in mixed foursomes of men and women, both world-class skiers and rookies, who will battle it out in exhilarating duals on a parallel slalom run that’s one of a kind. The teams accumulate precious points with each win, the stop clock adding to the strategic challenge in the event of a tie.
RED BULL ALPINE PARK, TO CLOSE THE SEASON IN VAL D’ISÈRE
This weekend of festivities in Val d’Isère also features some amusing challenges, a lively fan zone and unprecedented concerts including Paul Kalkbrenner at La Folie Douce.
Competition spectators can easily reach the site on skis, via the Rocher de Bellevarde summit, to get close to the action and enjoy the Red Bull Alpine Park experience to the full.
