FLAGSTAFF, Arizona – Arizona Snowbowl‘s last weekend is fast approaching, with closing day taking place on May 5 and daily operations closed until May 4. But the oncoming closure won’t stop Mother Nature from dropping buckets of snow.

We talked about Arizona Snowbowl’s ongoing storm on Saturday, with 19″ of snow touching down in the 24 hours before that initial post was made. But the snow kept falling throughout the weekend, with another 11 inches touching down. In total, the resort witnessed 30 total inches of snowfall Friday through Sunday.

Unfortunately the huge snow dump doesn’t mean an extended season for the resort, nor does it mean weekly operations will run this week, but it does mean they’re in for an epic closing weekend on the fourth and fifth. The weather is looking fairly warm throughout the week, with highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s. Saturday and Sunday should be epic.

Lifts run from 10am-4pm both days, and live music will be available at Agassiz Lodge to celebrate the season.
