If you haven’t heard the news, Japanese ski jumper Ryoyu Kobayashi broke the world record for the longest ski jump (not according to the FIS but phooey to them). Ryoyu flew an incredible 954 feet on a purpose built jumped in Iceland. The entire project was cloaked in secret until he finally stuck the landing and skied into the record books. Here’s what it looked like from his perspective. Incredible!
