Someone’s box truck home went up in flames in San Francisco last week, and as the fire department arrived to put it out, a random white truck rolls up and douses the burning vehicle with a boatload of water. The question is, who’s truck is it?

FormerlyFlightsuit, who posted the video to YouTube, proposes that it could have been a San Francisco Police Department vehicle, or even just a random good citizen. I’m betting that it’s just an unmarked fire department vehicle for when access to the hydrant is blocked. It kind of seems like the box truck is parked too close to the white fire hydrant, which may be why a tank trunk is needed.

Regardless, somebody lost their home in this fire, whether it was a van-life person or just somebody trying to get by in San Francisco, so we feel for them.
