New Zealand is a huge mountain biking destination. Queensland alone is full of incredible wooded and oceanside trails. But we don’t see a ton of clips coming out of the land Down Under. Maybe that’s because there’s so much coming out of Canada and Europe that people forget to look towards the southern hemisphere, maybe that’s because the country just lacks those wild, ‘push it to the limit’ type features.

Inspired by the incredible ‘Tour de Gnar‘, which takes on some of the wildest features of the Sea to Sky region of British Columbia, Reece Potter and whole crew of Aussie mountain bikers set out to find, build, and crush some of the gnarliest features in Queensland. They’ve called it the ‘Tour De Yeah Nah’.

We lack the ‘gnar’ type features that really pushes riders limits. So the idea came about to let everyone know that if you wanted to partake in the event you had two months to go out, find and build something gnarly for everyone to ride on the tour. It turned out to be one of the wildest weekends of the year here in Queenstown.
