“Just a little spring cleaning.” –Pleasant Mountain
TIMBER…Pleasant Mountain in Maine put a fork in their season about a week ago and they were quick to get things rolling on disassembling the old Summit Triple lift and installing the New Summit Express. Pretty cool time to have a fighter jet flyby just as you knock down a tower. Here’s the word on the new lift:
“We’re taking our guest experience to new heights with a faster, more efficient detachable quad from Dopplemayr. The Summit Express will cut the ride time in half, shuttling skiers and riders to the top of the mountain in just 4.5 minutes.
Construction will begin soon after the season wraps up with the removal of the Summit Triple chairlift and site preparation, followed by tower and terminal installation.”
