Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah- After a late closing last season, Brighton will once again be one of the last ski resorts in Utah to close.

This week, Brighton Resort announced its spring operations plan. Most of their lifts will shut down on April 28th. This year’s Meltdown event will be centered around the new Crest 6 chairlift. Brighton, which is known for its terrain park network, will transform the open runs into a wonderland for those who love park skiing and riding. They’ll run with this setup from March 3rd-19th. Lift tickets will be $35, and parking will be free. You won’t need a reservation to park at the Utah ski resort.

Last year, the Meltdown happened over at Milly. This featured multiple terrain parks and sidehits. With the Crest 6 chairlift having more capacity compared to the Milly Express, it seems like the right move. There is no word yet on whether the skate ramp will return.
