Government Camp, Oregon- A core part of Timberline Lodge’s beginner lift network is down for the count.

Yesterday, Timberline Lodge announced that Bruno’s chair is done for the season. This is due to a gearbox failure, with repairs expected to take place this summer. Bruno’s services a small amount of beginner terrain near one of Timberline Lodge’s parking lots. Luckily, the Oregon ski resort still has its new Timberline Tiger Conveyer lift open and its beginner terrain down at Summit Pass open.

Ultimately, this closure doesn’t matter much for most Timberline skiers and riders. Even with this closure, Timberline Lodge’s season is expected to go into the summer.
