JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming – What happens when a guy from Boston attempts to ski the legendary Corbet’s Couloir?

Okay, let’s not generalize too much here, there are plenty of Bostonians and East Coasters that could take on Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole and come out on their feet. But, and this is coming from someone who grew up and learned to ski on the East Coast, it’s a whole lot funnier to generalize in this situation.

I’ve personally never seen or tried to ski Corbet’s Couloir in person, so I can’t honestly say how I’d do. I like to think that I could do it. I’ve skied some pretty difficult terrain in my life, I’d like to think that I could make it work. Another part of me, a darker part of me, thinks it would just end up like this. I guess I’ll only know if and when I try it.
