SUGAR BOWL, California – Commuting to work is never fun, no matter how long or difficult it might be. Most of us, however, have the luxury of not tunneling into our place of work to start the day, something that the marketing team and Sugar Bowl Ski Resort had to do this past weekend.
According to the AP, Sugar Bowl received more than 10 feet of snow through this past weekend’s massive storm. Employees were forced to tunnel through several feet of snow to access their building’s front door and, upon making their way into the building, found a solid wall of snow covering the door to the second floor of the building.
Of course, video footage of the massive snow wall made it to the company’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
“They’ve been chipping away at it since Friday, and had to tunnel down to the downstairs door to get in. It definitely keeps you on your toes.” – Jon Slaughter of the Sugar Bowl marketing team
