Skiers at Bogus Basin got an unexpected light show when the bit of thundersnow blew the Idaho ski resort with the arrival of Winter Storm Orzelle. Cloud to cloud thundersnow lightening strikes are relatively common but witnessing a cloud to ground thundersnow lightening strike is pretty rare occurrence.
