The Pacific Northwest has some great ski resorts, which typically see ample snowfall. However, not many people fly there to shred at these ski resorts. So why is that the case?

In one of PeakRankings’ latest videos, they analyzed why Washington and Oregon don’t see the destination travelers that typically go to Colorado or Utah. Their reasons include the nearby mountains can barely handle day travelers, getting to these mountains is more challenging compared to other destination states, the Pacific Northwest has a lack of ski towns, getting to the mountains can be difficult due to varying road conditions, and the snow quality can vary depending on the elevation.
