World Cup Saturday Killington Resort Winter 23/24

Saturday marked the return of World Cup skiing to Killington Resort. The Giant Slalom FIS Alpine World Cup race on Saturday, November 25th was a close race, with many lead changes throughout the course of the event.

After the first run, New Zealand skier Alice Robinson was in the lead, followed by Sweeden’s Sara Hector. Mikaela Shiffrin was situated in fifth place.

The second run featured a multitude of lead changes thanks to a firm slope on Superstar, allowing racers to speed down with control. Mikaela Shiffrin briefly held the lead before being overtaken by Gut-Behrami, ultimately ending up in third place. Alice Robinson had the final run of the day, securing second place.
