Many thrill seekers seek out the most difficult slopes in the world to conquer, with many debating which on-piste slopes are the toughest and most dangerous on the planet. Luckily, one YouTuber has brought his European perspective to this debate.

YouTuber Marius Quast, who’s a DSV (German Ski Association) ski instructor, posted a video yesterday that lists the five most dangerous trails on the planet. Most are his picks are in Europe, with Le Tunnel at Alp d’Huez, Harakiri at Tyrol, Swiss Wall in Les Port de Soleil, and the Grand Couloir at Courchevel making the list. There is one North American ski trail, which is always destined to end up on this kind of list: Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole.

I may be biased, but I do feel like they’re more difficult and dangerous runs in North America than the four that he listed in Europe. I think the video would have been better focused if he just covered the most dangerous European slopes.

The video from Marius is below. While the video is in German, there are English captions and stunning visuals of the slopes, so it’s easy to follow along.
