Breckenridge move aside…there is a new boss in town when it comes to shot-skis. Congratulations to the Park City who just hosted their 7th annual Park City Sunrise Shot Ski event where 1,340+ people gathered on Main Street and downed a shot out of 2,900-foot-long ski. They not only broke the record for longest shot-ski, they also raised $50,000 for local charities.

ABC4 reports the event was put on by Park City Sunrise Rotary Club and High West Distillery. General admission tickets were $25 and included a spot on the shot ski and a token to enjoy a High West specialty drink at High West and a souvenir shot glass. Thats a pretty sweet deal.

Park City shouldn’t get too comfy with their distinction as Breck will no doubt try to break their record this December when the hold their own shot-ski event. Got to love an old school ski town rivalry.
