Ski Butlers

Like a snowball rolling down a mountain, Ski Butlers has experienced a meteoric rise since its humble beginnings. With each passing year, this trailblazing company has expanded at an astonishing rate. Today, Ski Butlers proudly serves a staggering 46 resorts throughout North America. Ultimately, this has solidified the company’s position as the unrivaled leader in ski and snowboard equipment rental.

In a watershed moment for the company, 2022 marked a monumental milestone as Alterra Mountain Company, a formidable force in the ski industry, acquired Ski Butlers. This thrilling union not only cemented Ski Butlers’ status as a key player but also unleashed a new era of possibilities for both companies. Together, they are poised to redefine the ski industry landscape, pushing boundaries and setting new standards of excellence.

As Ski Butlers continues to carve its path to greatness, one thing is certain: the slopes will never be the same again. Never has this been more true for this amazing company than now. This week, they announced their expansion into, not only, Winter Park, CO. but also Stratton Mountain Resort, VT and Mount Snow, VT. Stratton and Mount Snow mark Ski Butlers first expansion into the east coast of the United States.

Stratton Becomes the First East Coast Alterra Resort

Stratton Mountain Resort

Since joining forces with Alterra Mountain Company in September 2022, Ski Butlers has wasted no time in venturing into uncharted territories. Leading the charge is Stratton, proudly claiming the title of Ski Butlers’ inaugural serviced Alterra resort on the East Coast.

“We are thrilled to be expanding into our first two East Coast resorts,” said Bryn Carey, Founder and CEO. “Our east coast expansion will benefit these customers, allowing them to rent from Ski Butlers in Vermont, then easily re-book when they travel out West.”

Winter Park: A Natural Addition for Ski Butlers

Ski Butlers

Expansion into Winter Park is a natural addition for Ski Butlers. Colorado has their largest operational footprint and Winter Park is also owned by parent company, Alterra Mountain Company. This expansion creates a win-win situation for both Ski Butlers and Winter Park. Ski Butlers will be able to offer its services to even more skiers and snowboarders. Meanwhile, Winter Park will be able to provide its guests with a more convenient and luxurious ski vacation experience.

Since its humble beginnings out of a single Park City garage in 2004, Ski Butlers has steadily grown into the industry leader for rentals. For a while, their base has predominantly been out west. However, their recent expansion announcement aims to change this. With the addition of Winter Park and also Stratton and Mount Snow, Ski Butlers now has a presence in the east. This is sure to be a stepping stone for future expansion while providing their well-known services to the east.
