Back in July, heavy rain and flooding devastated many communities in Vermont. This included mountain towns like Killington, Okemo, and Woodstock. The response to help out these towns has been widespread, and floodwaters have since receded. Unfortunately, the damage to many buildings, bridges, and roads was significant, and many more repairs were needed.

Because of this, Sugarbush Resort has announced that they’ll be hosting a musical festival for the victims of the floods. On September 17th, they’ll be hosting Outpour ’23, which will feature food, drink, and live music. 100% of the ticket proceeds, along with a portion of the food and beverage sales, will go towards Vermont Community Foundation’s VT Flood Response & Recovery Fund. There will also be live raffles from Sugarbush, Lawson’s Finest Liquids, the High Fives Foundation, Mad River Vallet Arts, and more. The festival will be held in the Lincoln Peak courtyard. Tickets are $20 if you purchase in advance, and $25 if you wait to buy at the mountain during the day of the event. There’s no entry fee for kids 12 and under. The doors will open at 11 AM, with the first performers starting at noon.

In terms of musical performances, the list of acts is below.

  • 12:00 PM- Sara Star and the Men from Mars
  • 1:00 PM- Guitfiddle
  • 2:00 PM- Phineas Gage
  • 3:00 PM- Running in Circles
  • 4:00 PM- Kind Bud
  • 5:00 PM- Abby Jenne and the Enablers
  • 6:00 PM Ragged Company
