Over the weekend, Sarah Brady, a former girlfriend of Jonah Hill, publicly shared a text exchange on Instagram, revealing the manipulative and abusive behavior she experienced during her relationship with the actor known for his role in “21 Jump Street.” Brady, a surf instructor by profession, is told by Jonah over text that she can not go “surfing with men” if their relationship is to continue.

In the text messages, Jonah presented a set of demands that he presented as “boundaries” that needed to be respected for their relationship to continue. These demands were listed as follows: “not surfing with men,” “avoiding inappropriate relationships with men,” “pursuing a modeling career,” “sharing photos of yourself in a bathing suit,” “posting suggestive pictures,” and the most contentious requirement, “avoiding friendships with women who have had tumultuous pasts, except for casual meetings like lunch or coffee, maintaining respectful boundaries.”

These text messages have sparked discussions about how some men, even after attending therapy, may not truly change their behavior but instead adopt therapeutic language and manipulate situations.

It is worth noting that Sarah Brady, whom Jonah Hill initially approached by sliding into her DMs on a photo of her surfing in a bikini, was a surf instructor at the time they met and continues to be one.
