Cheers to another successful running of Palisades Tahoe’s spring tradition known as the Cushing Crossing. While most ski resorts set up temporary water features for pond skim events using trenches dug into the snow lined with tarps and piped in water, Palisades has a permanent pond at the base of the mountain that skiers and snowboarders try their luck skimming across. Its a long skim, the entry point is sketchy by design and its an absolute blast to see in person. Best pond skim in the world if you ask my opinion. This was the 31st year of the event and it just keep getting better. Cheers!
