A couple of months ago, Ruin Road released the most comprehensive video that we’ve seen of the abandoned Sugar Loaf ski resort in Michigan.

The YouTube video includes a tour of the lodge, hotel, snowmaking facility, and ski slopes. It also covers the history of the ski resort and has lots of great vintage videos and photos of it during its heyday. If you don’t watch the whole thing, tune in for the final few minutes of the video, as it shows many vintage images.

In spite of it being recently bought, the property’s future remains uncertain. The buildings were demolished in the past couple of years, as vandalism and fires made the structures decrepit.  The new owner’s intention has yet to be announced to the public.

The video from Ruin Road is below.
