Not every post race interview ends with a kiss and proclamation of love but when guy holding the mic is your boyfriend normal rules do not apply. Congratulations to Mikaela Shiffrin for her record breaking season capped off with her 88th World Cup win at the giant slalom Sunday in Andorra.
This was 21st giant slalom win, which broke another long standing record held by Vreni Schneider. The win was also Shiffrin’s 138th trip to a World Cup podium, breaking her former teammate Lindsey Vonn’s record of 137.
Massive congratulations to Mikaela for all her accomplishments and shoutout to Aleksander Aamodt Kilde who may have a future in broadcasting.
