It’s always good to practice the buddy system on the mountain but it can be critical after a dump when a fun run can turn into a life or death situation in a split second. Take for example this skier who enjoying some fresh turns before face planting and ended up buried upside down. No telling he if could have self-rescued from this position but thankfully he didn’t have to thanks to his alert riding partner. Great conditions come with great responsibilities folks.
