Wyoming is the 9th largest state by square miles, but it ranks in dead last when it comes to population.

Under 600,000 people live in the Cowboy State, and any kind of traffic jam is few and far between. Outside of Jackson Hole on a powder day or Holiday, of course…

The video below shows a cowboy moving a flock of 6,000 sheep to a winter range down the middle of a road near Cokeville, WY.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised, we’re talking about Wyoming after all, but I can’t get over the fact that it’s 2023 and cowboys are blocking roadways to move their herd from one spot to another.

Again, I know that’s a regular practice in states like Wyoming, but yeah… it just feels odd.

Shout out to the cowboys keeping the traditions of those that came before them. Most of this country was built on the blood, swear, and tears of hard-working ranchers and cowboys that fed the masses.
