“I DID IT!!! I skied the most difficult downhill in the world- The Streif…AT NIGHT!!” –Lindsey Vonn
Lindsey Vonn certainly has a flair for the dramatic, as she not only became the first first woman to ski the infamous Streif in Kitzbühel, she did it at night which was a world’s first as well. Lindsey may be retired but she certainly hasn’t hung up her skis quite yet. This is badass:
“I have always wanted to ski with the men but I honestly was not sure I could do it. This was one of the most exciting and dangerous projects of my life, and the most rewarding. I have always had so much respect for the men who race this downhill, but I have even more perspective now and even more respect.”
