Skiing in a whiteout or in a fog cloud can be a miserable experience. Visibility is challenging, and you can’t really see hidden obstacles. Luckily, the folks over at CARV gave some excellent advice and drills to do when you encounter these conditions.

Some of the tips include using landmarks, skiing near the treeline, pole planting, and using ankle flexion. The video from CARV is below.
