The Alps have had a rough start to 2023. Last week, Europe dealt with a historic heat wave, which affected many ski resorts. While snow is in the forecast this week, it doesn’t discount the legitimate concerns that people have shared about the future of the ski industry in Europe.

Reuters traveled to the mountain town of Leysin, Switzerland to discover how bad skiing conditions were. Temperatures reached seventy degrees at one point, and snow is scarce. They talked to workers and skiers to see how concerned they were about skiing in Europe. The video from Reuters is below.
