Buffalo, NY has been subjected to two monster lake-effect snowstorms already this year. The most recent storm dumped more than four feet of snow across the region, and unfortunately led to more than two dozen deaths.

Vehicles across the city are snowed-in, and are preventing plows from clearing the street.

Looks like New York State Police are turning to forklifts to move the trapped and abandoned vehicles out of the way.

Who knew that the state police owned souped-up forklifts fitted with snow-tracks for the sole purpose of moving trapped vehicles?

I guess all of that New York taxpayer money has to go somewhere…
