“There has been a lot of interest in reintroducing public transportation to the area. We hope that people take advantage of this service. Ridership data from this season will help gauge the actual demand, providing a baseline for if and how we might expand public transportation offerings in the future.”- Susan Saad, Director of Community & Customer Relations

Bogus Basin is getting back into the public bus business. The Idaho ski resort announced on Thursday that they’ll be reintroducing the public bus for the first time in two years. The bus will include pick-up/drop-off stops in Meridian, Eagle, and Boise. The service will begin on December 26th and will be daily up until Sunday, January 8th. After that, it will run on weekends and holidays. Bogus Basin is partnering with Cascade Student Transportation for the bus, and it will cost $10 for a round-trip or one-way trip.

With the UTA Ski Bus currently struggling due to a variety of reasons, this is something that Utah ski resorts should look into. Click here to see the schedule for Bogus Basin’s public bus.
