We all love camping. You get to spend the night under the starts, surrounded by trees and nature, all while enjoying a little bit of solitude. It can be a bit of a pain though… Setting up the tent, cooking over a fire, and dealing with a large amount of dirt can get to some people, and generally stars aren’t visible while inside the tent.

This Bubble Dome near Cripple Creek, Colorado, might just solve those problems. This two “room” bubble dome is available for $75 a night on Airbnb. It has a king size bed with privacy curtains, so you don’t have to worry about random people seeing you at night, several chairs for enjoying the view, a 55″ smart tv (incase you get bored of the view, I guess), a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee pot, and much more.

The bubble is constantly being inflate by a quiet blower located beneath the porch (yes, you get a small porch as well), so you do have to enter and exit through an airlock while being careful to only have one door open at a time. The walls in main room, the bedroom, are mostly clear, but the second room is not see through, so you will have a good amount of privacy while visiting.

It’s important to note that while this is certainly glamping, you’re still fairly exposed to the elements. The bubble has both a heater and air-conditioner, but, due to a lack of insulation, it can get very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. Plan accordingly if you hope to book a stay and don’t be disappointed when the bubble isn’t perfectly at room temperature.

All together, this seems like a really cool experience for a night or two. I might have to book a few days there myself for the spring…
