TREW, the popular ski and snowboard bibs and outerwear maker has launched an amateur film competition with some serious prizes.

Called the ‘TREW To You’ community film project, applications are open through December 10th. TREW will then select 10 teams to compete.

The teams will then be kitted out with TREW gear, products from supporting sponsors, and $1,000 cash to fund the making of their 3-5 min short film.

Here’s where the competition gets tricky- teams will only have six weeks to film and four weeks to edit during Winter ’23.

Here are the filming and editing windows:

Filming Period: 1/30 – 3/12

Editing Period: 3/13 – 4/9

All 10 short films will then be combined into a longer-form film that will be shown to audiences during Fall ’23.

Viewers will be able to vote on their favorite film, and the winner will be given $10,000 in cash.

This is an awesome opportunity for all of you amateur skiing and snowboarding filmmakers that are looking for a big break. It would be sick if one of our readers at Unofficial Networks were to win this competition.
