Mammoth Mountain wasn’t planning on opening until November 11th, but 6 inches of early-season snow, and snowmaking-friendly temps have allowed the resort to get the ball rolling early.

Mammoth will now open on November 5th for the 22/23 season!

Here are the full details about opening day terrain/lifts as per Mammoth’s social media post announcing the early opening:

“We expect to operate 2-3 lifts at 8:30AM this Saturday, November 5 with access to 2-3 runs and a small Unbound Terrain Park.

All operations will be based out of Main Lodge, no beginner terrain available at this time. We will continue to make snow around the clock as conditions allow, more information to come.”
